Q&A:

What does luxury mean to you?

Luxury to me means having the freedom to be or do what I want at any given moment.

There is no doubt you have an eye for style & culture… How do you think culture has influenced your career path?

Culture is everything to me, my whole persona revolves around it. All my different styles and looks have been influenced by the connections, travels, and understanding of a particular culture. Culture has given me a broader understanding of what it takes to create or emulate a certain look. It allows you to see a perspective through a different eye than what you are used to. It gives you an understanding into someone else’s world and you can then live and be a part of it. Through culture alone, I have been able to rediscover my life and career path

Heritage is an important part of the Apollo brand. How has your heritage shaped the person you are today?

Culture being under the umbrella of heritage, has allowed me to be free, to do and create what feels right to me. My heritage is so rich and diverse that it has allowed me the opportunity to approach things different than most. The accessories I wear, the silhouettes and color palettes even have all been given to me through heritage.

Heritage plays an important role in everyone's development and it has been to me in my personal and work development.

What do you think makes a place, person or even object feel like home?

The emotional connection to it. What sparks that emotion to make it feel at home? It can be the colors, the aromas, even the way something is arranged or decorated. We are all a recollection of memories and emotions.

What would you tell your 18 year old self, with your life experience today?

Learn to be patient, continue to explore, continue to not be afraid to fail. Lastly, continue working hard and do everything you do with passion.

What brings you the most happiness & the most at peace?

The simple things in life, having a cup of coffee in the morning, being able to identify a scent and looking at a sunrise, whether on a beach or in the mountains. Being able to do what I love everyday really brings me happiness.
